Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 10 June 2026

These terms apply to all treatments and services provided by Patrycja Mikolajczyk Beauty (“we”, “the studio”), 283 High Street, Perth PH1 5QN, United Kingdom. By booking an appointment or using our services, you accept the terms below.

1. Bookings and confirmations

Appointments can be made through the booking system on our website (including the LUCY assistant), as well as via Instagram and Facebook. A booking is binding once we confirm it — picking a time slot online is a request that we then confirm by email.

2. Cancellations and rescheduling

Please cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours notice. We understand things come up — give us as much notice as you can so we can offer the slot to someone on the waiting list. For repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows we may ask for a deposit before the next appointment.

3. Arriving on time

Please arrive a few minutes early. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late we may need to shorten or reschedule the appointment to avoid affecting other clients.

4. Patch tests and contraindications

Selected treatments — including laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal and Keratin treatment — require a mandatory patch test, usually 24–48 hours before the appointment itself. This is a safety requirement. Without a valid patch test, a treatment may be declined.

Please tell us about any contraindications (including pregnancy, breastfeeding, photosensitivity, recent sun exposure, skin conditions, recent fillers, certain medications). If in doubt, please consult your doctor before the treatment.

5. Payment

Payment is settled at the end of the appointment. We accept card, cash and bank transfer. The current price list on our website applies; prices marked “quoted” are confirmed individually before your visit. Patrycja Mikolajczyk Beauty is not VAT-registered.

6. Your consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including that a service is performed with reasonable care and skill and within a reasonable time. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

7. Liability

We carry out treatments with reasonable care and skill, following manufacturer and product guidance. We are not responsible for outcomes that result from withholding relevant health information, failure to follow aftercare advice, or other circumstances outside the studio's control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Personal data

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: we collect only what we need to deliver the service and bill you; we do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. As a consumer you keep access to UK consumer alternative-dispute-resolution mechanisms.

10. Contact
