Lash extensions in Perth, Scotland

Lash extensions

I apply classic and light volume lash extensions at a private studio near Perth. A full set takes a couple of hours of lying still with your eyes closed, which most people find is the most restful part of their week.

Classic is one extension bonded to one natural lash — it lengthens and defines without adding much weight, and it suits you if you want people to notice your eyes rather than your lashes. Light volume uses two or three finer extensions per natural lash to build softness and fullness. Both are chosen around what your own lashes can carry: overloading a fine natural lash is how people end up with gaps, so I choose the method your lashes can actually carry.

Extensions shed with your natural lashes, because that is what they are attached to. You lose a few every day whether you notice or not, so sets are topped up with infills every two to three weeks rather than replaced. Leaving it much longer usually means a new full set instead.

Aftercare is short but it matters: keep them dry for the first day, avoid oil-based products around the eyes, and do not pick at them. Pulling out an extension takes your own lash with it.

What the appointment looks like

  1. 1

Consultation: we agree length, curl and style around your eye shape and the strength of your natural lashes.

  2. 2

Preparation: lashes are cleansed, and the lower lashes are isolated with a pad so nothing sticks together.

  3. 3

Application: each extension is bonded individually. A full set takes roughly one and a half to two hours; you lie down with your eyes closed throughout.

  4. 4

Infills: every two to three weeks to keep the set full.

Before you book

Come with clean lashes and no eye makeup or mascara. Extensions are not suitable if you have an active eye infection or irritation, and I will reschedule rather than work over one. If you have had a reaction to lash adhesive before, tell me when you book — we will talk it through before anything is applied.
